audiences and industries that is consistently supported by highly appropriate and effective examples. I would of been able to achieve a good mark on Q3

3) Read this exemplar response from a previous Year 12 (an A grade) - note this was a slightly different paper in terms of the question wording and also had an additional question 4 (we've updated it to better reflect recent exams). Identify at least one potential point for questions 1-3 from this student's paper that you could have mentioned in your assessment.

I could of used the media terminology enabling me to gain high marks for understanding i could use the link back to narrative to be clear to my teacher/marker of what my point is trying to mean i could refer to the figures to be more clearer with my point and have a good structure when writing

4) Did you get any media terminology or theory wrong in the assessment? Make a note of it here for future revision, including theories/terminology that you could have used but didn't.

Narrative theories society and people levistraus enigma propps Blumler and katz conventions of expectations

5) Identify your weakest question and write three bullet points that would improve on your original response. Use the mark scheme and exemplar paper to identify these points - particularly focusing on the anticipated content and the top level descriptors.

  • Question 1 i should of used media terminology to gain good marks which would help up my grade
  • Question 2 i should go into more detail about what i am trying to infer in my answer
  • Question 3 if i had used more key terminology and read the question properly
